Synopsis
Italian American Fioravante (John Turturro) runs a flower shop and occasionally works at the soon-to-close bookstore of Murray (Woody Allen). Murray recommends Fioravante for a risqué venture, which turns into a lucrative business. But life takes an unexpected turn when Fioravante, who disguises himself as a Sephardic Jew, falls in love with Avital (Vanessa Paradis), a Hasidic Jewish woman. More complications arise when a Jewish neighborhood patrolman, Dovi (Liev Schreiber), pursues Avital. Also starring Sharon Stone, Sofía Vergara, and Jade Dixon.
