NA’AMA KEHA

Na’ama Keha was born in Kibbutz Givat Brenner, Israel to Jewish Yemenite and Turkish-Sephardic parents. At the age of 18, during her military service, Na’ama served as a news reporter with the highly selective and prestigious institution “Galei Zahal”—a nationwide radio station. As a journalist, she broadcasted live during the 2nd Lebanese War and the 2nd Intifada.

In 2012, she wrote the short film “Now and Forever”, which premiered at the 69th Venice Film Festival, and was the screenwriter and content editor on the documentary TV program Science of Dreams. In 2014, she wrote and directed “Keep It Cool” which premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival and held the position of website Editor in Chief for the Israeli Film & Television Producers Association. In 2015 she graduated magna cum laude from Tel Aviv University with a B.F.A. in Filmmaking and Cinema Studies. Currently, Na’ama is pursuing her M.F.A. in Film Production at Tisch NYU, as a recipient of the TSOA Dean’s Fellowship. She is also a recipient of the ISEF international fellowship for her academic achievements. Na’ama is represented by Kneller agency.
