An investigation into the footsteps of the Camondos, nicknamed the "Rothschilds of the East" of whom only the exceptional collections that these great art lovers gave to France survive. The film traces the saga of this family, which began at the beginning of the 19th century on the banks of the Bosphorus and ended brutally at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
